Remedy Pickups
Hand-Wound Guitar & Bass Pickups.
Hand Built in Somerset.
Remedy Pickups are handwound in Somerset with care, attention, and a genuine love for great tone.
Each set is built slowly and thoughtfully, focusing on balance, feel, and how the guitar responds in your hands. The aim is simple - pickups that sound right, feel right, and bring out the best in your instrument.
Whether you’re playing at home, in the studio, or out gigging, these are made to be musical, reliable, and inspiring every time you plug in.

How I Approach Pickups
Based on years of repair, setup and real-world use
I’ve spent years setting up, repairing, and modifying guitars and basses, and pickups have always been part of that work. Over time, you start to understand how different designs behave in real instruments — and how small changes can shape the feel, balance, and response.
When I build pickups, I take the same approach I use at the bench: listen first, make small adjustments, and take the time to get it right. Some are made with a specific guitar or player in mind, others are developed more generally, but each one is built with care and attention.
Every pickup is handwound in Somerset using quality materials, with UK suppliers where possible.

What Remedy Pickups Players Say
"Hi Ben. I've only had a quick play so far but you've absolutely nailed it - I've got the Greeny sound I always wanted. Marvellous. Thanks. R"
Richard from Somerset.
What Happens Next?
Remedy Pickups are still in their early stages. Builds are limited, made to order, and developed slowly rather than kept in stock.
If you’re curious about having a pickup built, the best place to start is a conversation. There’s no checkout or fixed price list at this stage — builds vary depending on the spec and the guitar they’re going into.
To give you a rough idea, Remedy Pickups sit in the mid-range price bracket. For example, a Tele bridge pickup starts from £95.
From there, it’s simply a case of talking through what you’re looking for and whether I'm a good fit. No obligation.
